Microsoft Toolkit 2.6 Beta 5 Windows and Office Activator This was released on 7/8/2016 with the following description: "Microsoft Toolkit is the powerful all-in-one toolkit that allows you to disable or activate both Windows 10 and Office 2016 products, activate Windows 8.1, 8, 7 SP1, Vista SP2, XP SP3 operating systems without having to enter a product key." The first release of Microsoft Tool kit was on June 26th 2015 with the following words "Please Note: This is an Early Release Version." This specific version's release date is on July 4th 2016. After the release the toolkit was updated on July 8th to version 2.6. Microsoft Toolkit Requirements: The tool needs at least 1 GB of free space, 32 bit or 64 bit architecture. The tool requires Windows 7 or higher language language. The current version is only available for English, but other languages are planned in the future. Microsoft Toolkit Command Line Interface (CLI) must be installed before running any commands that include "toolkit" in the command line, such as "msiexec /i {toolkit PATH}". To install the CLI press the Install button in the Control Panel section of Control Panel → Programs and Features →Turn Windows Features On or Off... The toolkit may be used to activate Windows 10 Home, Pro and Enterprise, along with Office 2016 Home and Business. There are 3 main sections to the Microsoft Toolkit; Windows Activators, Office Activators and Windows/Office KMS Pico. Classifications for these sections are below: The developer of the toolkit says that it does not affect your privacy or security in any way.  You do not provide any personal information during the activation process; you only need to select which OS you want to activate before running the CLI tools. While some users have claimed that their privacy was affected by using this product, there is no proof as of yet. Some users have created videos demonstrating the toolkit's capabilities. The user creates a Windows 10 Pro x64 system and then enters the product key provided with his Surface Book's hardware purchase and runs the activation through Microsoft Toolkit. On July 4th, 2016 an update for Microsoft Toolkit was released by the developer at version 2.0. This update to 2. 0 brought with it Windows 10 capability. An article by "TechRepublic" says that the toolkit is "likely to be effective for most users." "TechArun" says that the tool provides "free lifetime activation" and that the license terms are clear. The website, Winaero, describes Microsoft Toolkit as “the most used software for free Windows and Office activation.”  Winaero also mentions their own review of how to use the toolkit on their website.
